  • Developing potential solutions
  • Innovating on an idea
  • Building a business plan
  • Preparing a draft pitch deck for potential investors

The Hobby To Hustle event is being facilitated by Joel Hillier who is an experienced conference presenter, corporate educator and facilitator who holds qualifications in human centred design, applied innovation and business strategy. He has a strong background in helping governments and businesses establish and develop the innovation and entrepreneurial eco-system.

Personally, he is a serial entrepreneur that started his very first business at the age of 10. By the time he left school he had earned money by starting:

  • an art sales business,
  • a mobile car washing business,
  • a window washing service for real estate agencies,
  • a house number painting business, and
  • a promotions company where he worked as a clown and a living mannequin.
